Squash Pie, which includes Pumpkin Pie, is a mildly sweet custard pie made with mashed winter squash and normally baked in a bottom shell. It is very similar in texture and appearance to Sweet Potato Pie. There are pies/cakes made from summer squash, but they are normally savory.
