Template:Babel I am "Doug" on all Wikimedia Foundation Projects and I have the doppelgänger account User:BewareofDoug. I run DougBot on here and several other Wikisource subdomains and I also have a second bot InterwikiBot for interwiki language links on several Wikisource subdomains, though its work has largely been supplanted by Candalua's CandalBot.
I am a bureaucrat on Latin Wikisource and an admin on English Wikisource and English Wikipedia and I have provided identification to the Foundation.
I am a U.S. lawyer. Although I would not consider myself an expert, by professional standards, I'm professionally familiar with U.S. copyright law and by most lay standards I would be considered an expert. I only have a general understanding of the copyright laws of other countries. I can help with copyright research, particularly with respect to non-renewal of pre-1963 US works.
Interesting things
- MediaWiki:Modernisation.js - may have application to our annotations issues on en.ws
- Wikisource:Subdomain_coordination - apparently a lot of ws's allow annotations
- Wikisource talk:Subdomain coordination - see Dovi's comment here about annotations on the hebrew wikisource
